He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Johansen and Nina Johansen (Martiny); his siblings, Ray, Bob (Adele), Norman, Ed, Gerald (Pat Johansen) and Arlene (Herb Wilson); and his brother-in-law Jim Maneke.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ida Mae Maneke, Ruth McCarthy (Don), Josephine Ottobre, Barb Dalton (Glen), Carl "Sonny" (Betty), Charlie (Judy) and Floyd Johansen (Mary); and his sisters-in-law, Betty and Doris Johansen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in his name may be made for ARC (Animal Rescue Coalition) of Mecosta County.
