Grosbeck of Rodney, Michigan, born in Stanwood, Michigan, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Groesbeck and Evon Groesbeck (Fick); his siblings, Jerry Fick, Merle Groesbeck and Janice Newberry; his son Sam Oaks; and his grandson Kyle Jerls.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Lintemuth Oaks; his children, Anita Guthrie (Matt) of New York, Rosana Nelson of White Cloud, Melissa Kantola (Dennis) of Newaygo, Mary Battjes (Terry) of Hickory Corners, Theresa Kurtzhals (Ron) of Newaygo, Dave Williams of Caledonia and Emily Jerls (Greg) of Caledonia; his grandchildren, Claire Guthrie (Timmy Robinson), Emma Guthrie, Heather Wolfsen (Jeff), Andrea Kantola (Cody Hinton), Kasey Roszell (Robert), Sebastian Battjes (Jenna), Brandon Battjes (Michelle), Zane Battjes, Makayla Kurtzhals, Jozlin Kurtzhals, Kobe Kurtzhals, Megan Nelson (Tim) and Sami Jo Jerls (Trey Hagstrom); his siblings, Linda Palethrope, Delores Cross (Bill) and Russ Grosbeck; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Groesbeck, Carol Lintemuth, Donna Truesdell and Alvah Lintemuth. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and one great-grandson.
