He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Jean Stadt; his grandson Zachary Nicholas Crapsey; his parents, Claude Stadt and Kathryn Stadt; his brother Robert Stadt; his brother-in-law Bert Ogden; and his sister Claudia Kildea (Dennis).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Lighthart (Tom) and Lisa Fanberg (John); his sister Jan Ogden; his grandchildren, Benjamin Crapsey (Amy), Nicholas Crapsey (Jessica), Shannon Fanberg (Caleb VanSetters) and Anya Koetje (Curtis); his great grandchildren, Sammy, Charlie, Allison, Rosalie and Theo Crapsey; and his friend Bill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rockford Reformed Church (4890 11 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI 49341). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
