It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Gordon Ewald of Rockford, Michigan, born in Cass City, Michigan, who passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ewald and Edith Ewald (Smithson); his great grandchild Macklin; and his siblings, Richard Ewald, Ruth Bullis and Phyllis Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Martin; his daughters, Lori DeVries (Michael) of Grand Rapids and Paula VanderStel (Brian) of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Adam DeVries (Stephanie) of Sparta, Brianna Hargis (Kevin) of Holland, Kendra Bramer (Trevor) of Greenville and Erika Gorby (Austin) of Trufant; and his great grandchildren, Adie, Dietrich, Anna, Spurgeon, Thorin, Micah, Blakely and Olivia.
Memorial contributions may be given to Calvary Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Cass City, or Continental Baptist Missions.
