He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Boyd and Kathyrn Boyd (Kies); his wife Tryphena Jean Boyd; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Braman and Patricia Watts.
He is survived by: his sister Bonnie Braman; his stepchildren, Scott Oostdyk (Elizabeth), Randy Oostdyk (Sandy), Sandra Oostdyk and Nanci Oostdyk; his grandchildren, Abby Thomas (Tony), Alec Oostdyk and Hannah Oostdyk; his siblings-in-law, Jon Watts, Pete Dykstra and Debra Perales (Lorenzo); his nieces and nephews, Sarah Braman-Smith (Jamie), Tanya Bretveld (Brad), Jennie Perales, Andrew Braman (Sarah) and Dominic Perales; and also, Bill and Gregg Howard.
