He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clay and Emma Boatman (Jandt); and his sister Linda Boatman. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Leslie (Soni); his children, Clay Boatman (Jan), Scott Boatman (Kelly), Leslie Monahan (Joe) and Karen Newberg (Brian); his grandchildren, Alexis, Emily, Bryn, Abigail, William, Joseph, Clay Andrew, John, Harrison, Henry and Claire; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Will; and his sister Marilyn Furry (Jim).
