He is survived by: his sister Lucille Boot Benaway; his children, Wendy Winegar of Cedar Springs and Adam Benaway of Cedar Springs; his grandchildren, Brenton Winegar, Amber Grega, Christopher Winegar, Taylor Benaway and Mason Benaway; his great grandchild Noah Winegar; his former wife Mary Ellen Benaway of Rockford; and his brother Warren Benaway of Grand Haven. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
