He is survived by: his mother Betsy Willard; his significant other Denise Kay Kurz; his daughter Amanda Nagel (James); his grandchildren, Mya Kidd (Aaron), Haily, Kaitlyn and Harper Nagel; his father-in-law Mariano DiPiazza; his siblings, Don Kurz, Larry Teeple (Renee), Pamela Rozanski and Beth Moore (Rob); and his close friend Mikey Edsenga (Ashleigh). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor may be donated to the American Cancer Society.
