With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Jean Smitter (Rockford, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Gray and Elaine Gray (Cherry); her daughter Kelly Jo Smitter; and the father of her children Harry Smitter. She is survived by: her children, Mike Smitter (Doreen), Scott Smitter, Wendy Smitter, Kimberlee Newberg and Mark Smitter (Linda); her grandchildren, Chris Newberg (Brigitte), Courtney Newberg, Casey Newberg, Chelsey Ball (Brad), Trenten Smitter, Rob Smitter (Sarah), Matt Smitter (Megan) and Nicole Bloomer (Carl); and her great grandchildren, Zavier, Maya Smitter, Landon, Grayson, Charlie and Gus Newberg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and amazing friends.
