He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Sprik and Cena Sprik; his siblings, Lila Vonk (John), Marian Demos (Ed), Cecile Hoeksema (James), Reverend Hubert Sprik (Barb), Calvin Sprik, Dale Sprik and Ernest Sprik; and his brother-in-law John Zandstra.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Sprik; his children, Roger Sprik (Sharon), Anita Groenhout (Greg), Nola Sprik, Samuel Sprik (Nicole) and Lynelle Denton (Kevin); his grandchildren, Eden, Colin, Lindsay (Jon), Megan (Jake), Ben, Tavi, Abigail, Malia, Ning, Eliza Jane, Ali, Max and Tessa; his great grandchild Ryleigh; his sister Thelma Zandstra; and his sister-in-law Ginger Sprik. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
