He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Phillips; his children, Keena Owens, Ryan Esquivel and Brandon Esquivel (Miranda Martin); his grandchildren, Kayla Taggart (Tad), Madison Silverthorne (Jaeden Heniser) and Kaiden Esquivel; his great grandchildren, Kinsley and Colson Taggart; his siblings, Martha Villarreal, Richard Esquivel (Leticia) and Oralia Esquivel; and his nephew Zach Tisdel. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
