He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Hirt and Loren Hirt; his sister Midge Leale; and his grandsons, James Chertos (Tina), Chad Chertos (Missy), Dan Hirt (Lacy), Lucas Hirt (Kendal), Zach Hirt (Yvette) and Austin Hirt (Allie). He is also survived by two great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
