We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Robert E Shier (Rockford, Michigan). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marjory; his daughters, Angelica Shier and Audrey Horrigan; his sons-in-law, Paul Roys, Buzz Schroeder and Jerry Foster; his grandchildren, Tony Shier and Gretchen Foster; his parents, Charles Shier and Marie Shier; and his siblings, Jean Caldwell, Mary Alice Lindsley and Donald "Pete" Shier.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah Kring (Jim), Connie Phillips, Jacquelyn Schroeder, Robert Shier Jr. (Bonnie), Joan Adamson (Peter), Jeffrey Shier (Debra), Joseph Shier (Karen), Adam Shier (Shannon) and Alicia Roys; and his siblings, Charles Shier (Mary Jane) and Betty Lou Tinsler. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Cannon Township Historical Society or Bostwick Lake Congregational Church.
