He was predeceased by: his parents, Lannes "Red" Connell and Laurena Connell; his parents-in-law, Grace Wood, Richard and Rita Donovan; and his siblings-in-law, Cliff Bills and Rhonda Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Curt Connell (Laurie) and Ellen Finney; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Braspennickx (Dan), Constance Bills, Richard Donovan (Elena), Sheila Langworthy (Terry) and Mary Thompson (Eric); his grandchildren, Erin Connell, Kelsey Connell and Moira Finney; and his father-in-law Ronald Wood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Michigan or to a charity of one's choice.
