It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Greenland Sr. of Rockford, Michigan, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen Greenland; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Brown; his sons, Michael and Dwight "Lee" Greenland; and his brothers, Harold and Leonard "Bud" Greenland.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Greenland (Brenda) and Robert Greenland (Donna); his daughter-in-law Lora Greenland (Lee); his grandchildren, Matthew (Heidi), Luke (Lisa), Nickolas, Adom (Lauren), Anthony "Tony" Greenland (Nicole), Sylvia Allen (Keith), Sarah Stoots (John), Dr. Robert Greenland and Mercedes Eggleston (Kyle); and his sister-in-law Treva Greenland (Dean Richardson). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Richard's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Shriners Hospital.
