He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Leistner and Eleanor Leistner; his siblings, Carl Leistner (Suzanne) and Anita Millburn; and his niece Gayanne Wunderlin.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his children, Scott Leistner (Anita), Linda DeWitt (Mark) and Thomas Leistner (Sebastian Koo); his grandchildren, Dillon Leistner (Emma), Erika Leistner, Tennyson Mackey (Jon), Michael DeWitt (Mary) and Alec DeWitt; and his great grandchild William DeWitt. He is also survived by great granddaughter due in November; nieces and nephews.
