Obituary for Michael Sowa
Michael Sowa of Rockford, Michigan, age 49, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018. He was born to Joseph and Maryan (Maciejewski) Sowa on December 31, 1968, in Grand Rapids, MI. Mike was a devoted father who loved his family very much. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. Mike was not only hardworking, but also the best mechanic around. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years Corrie Sowa; adored children, Brandon, Nicole, and Caitlyn; loving mother Maryan; siblings, Mark (Amy) Sowa, Joanne (Mike) Holton, Janice (Menno) Klimek, Dick (LeAnne) Sowa, Cindy (Marshall) McBride, Sue (Doug) Olin, Carol (Paul) Collins, Joe (Liz) Sowa, and his best buddy, Buster. Mike was preceded in death by his father. There will be a time of memorial visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe St., Rockford, MI, 49341. The funeral service for Mike will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Pederson Funeral Home. There will also be a one hour memorial visitation prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy may make a memorial donation to:
