She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Metzler (Lange) and Ralph Metzler; and her brother Ralph Metzler, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Gregory Sandman; her children, Jennifer Cannestra (Rob), Dr. Geoffrey Sandman (Melissa) and Shane Sandman (Michelle); and her siblings, Ed Metzler (Linda), Jane Goble (Dick) and Phyllis King (Bill).
