He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank (Ferenc) and Elizabeth (Erzsebet); his former wife Doris Gyorey (Richardson); and his brother Geza Gyorey. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gyorey (VanHoven); his daughters, Patricia Gyorey, Jelynne Sornberger (David) and Holly Mercer (Brad); and his grandchildren, Grace, Lauren, Braden, Eva, Lucas, Zachary and Cody.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Cannon Baptist Church (5760 Cannonsburg Rd NE, Belmont, MI 49306).
In lieu of flowers, donations to one of two charities that were important to Leslie would be appreciated.
