He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Kitler and Anne Kitler; and his siblings, Howard Kitler (Norma), Robert Kitler and Marianne Marek (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Robin Sommers (Timothy) and Steven Kitler (Leilani); his grandchildren, Michele Metz (Andrew), Nicole Sommers, Nathan and Samuel Kitler; his great grandchildren, Alana, Avery and Madison; and his sister Carol Piper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
