He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Benson and Millie Benson (Poyser); and his brothers, Ron and Rodney. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Catherine Kurtz (Kris) and Craig; and his grandchildren, Patrick (Carolyn), Colin, Abigail and Katelyn Kurtz.
