He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hoekstra and Alice Hoekstra (Vandenberg); and his brothers, John Hoekstra and Mel Hoekstra. He is survived by: his brothers, Michael J. Hoekstra (Lenore) and Ross E. Hoekstra (Laura); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Hoekstra and Anna Hoekstra.
