He was predeceased by: his sister Helen Engels; and his parents, John Bolt and Christine Bolt-Holwerda. He is survived by: his wife Madelyn "Madge" Bolt (Bouwer); his children, Jillaine (Rick Ericksen), Polly Bolt, Andrew (Kelly Bolt) and Katherine (Tim Woodburne); his grandchildren, Leanne, Rachael, Jonathan, Samantha, Lydia, Spencer, Grace, Gavin and Joslyn; his great grandchildren, Adrienne, Jameson, Caleb, Sawyer, June, Joey and Calvin; and his brother Harold.
