She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Beauchamp and Ruth Beauchamp (Ransom); her husband Alvin M. "Buck" Platt; her daughter Kathleen Heimendinger; her sister Frances; her brother-in-law Ken Sorensen; her brother Bill; and her sister-in-law Letha Beauchamp.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Platt (Carla) and Mary Veltman (Glenn); her granddaughters, Lisa Knapp, Lora Best, Caitlin Platt, Hanna Platt and Emma Glines; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Nicholas, Ally, Ella, Justin, Kayla, Kason and Maxwell Alvin; her great great grandchildren, Rockford and Thorlin; and her son-in-law Tim (Connie).
