He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Bassett and Irene Bassett (Morris); his wife Nancy; and his siblings, Raymond and Joanne.

He is survived by: his children, Jason Bassett (Dawn) and Belinda Clark (Dave); his grandchildren, Aryah, Tanner, Austin and Brittany; and his great grandchildren, Hunter and MacKenzie.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the K. E. Pike Funeral Home (13603 Northland Dr NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319).

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Gentiva Hospice.
