He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Szovinszky and Laszlo Szovinszky; and his brother Laszlo "Laci" Szovinszky of Hungary. He is survived by: his brother Steven Sovinsky (Elaine) of Livonia, MI; his sister-in-law Linda Szovinsky of South Lyon, MI; his nephew George L. Sovinsky of Troy, MI; his stepchildren, Teresa Haapala (Tony) of Whitmore Lake, MI and Benheart Fulayter (Kim) of North Jackson, OH; and his nieces and nephews, James "JJ" (Megan), John, Lisa (Kevin) and Linda (Denny). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
