He was predeceased by: his former wife Sandra Ruth Hessler (Vantol); and his father Russell Hessler. He is survived by: his wife Susie Gordon-Hessler; his mother Joyce Hessler; his children, Andrew Hessler (Marin) and Chelsea Woudstra (Rick); his stepchildren, Matthew Gordon (Sarah) and Jen Perosky (Joey); his brother David Hessler (Carol); his nephews, Alex and Connor; and his grandchildren, Melody, Emma, Claire, Kendall, Annabelle, Silas and Eloise.
