He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ward Lyons and Dorris Lyons (Havens); his wife Kathryn Lyons (Stoner); his sons, Frederick Lyons (Cynthia) and Mitch Lyons (Angela); the mother of his children Janet Lyons (Pallas); his grandchildren, Dalton Lyons, Haley Lyons, Trent Lyons (Ashley Bottenfield), Grace Lyons, Taylor Price (Don), Bailey Sergent and Jourdan Sergent (Zack Volkers); his great grandchild Jack Price; his brothers, Myk Lyons (Carolyn) and Patrick Lyons (Julie); his mother-in-law Versa Stoner; and his brothers-in-law, Brian Stoner (Robin) and Kevin Stoner.
