He was predeceased by: his parents, George Butts and Lilla Butts (Speer). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Alissa Butts and William Butts (Carol); his siblings, John Butts (Linda) and Gail Palasek (Donald); his granddaughters, Lily Tzeng (Calvin), Violet and Holly Butts; his great grandchildren, Zara and Rafael Tzeng; his former wife Nancy Burgett Butts; and his friend Rick Denhof. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
