He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardith Babcock and Dorothy Babcock (Middleton); his siblings, Ronald Babcock, Steve Babcock, David Babcock and Jeanette Quillin; and his former wife Mary Babcock.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Fragassi; his siblings, Terry Babcock and Sharon Derby; his stepchildren, David Swanson, David Azzarello and Amy Smith; and his granddaughters, Isabelle Smith, Piper Smith and Edith Swanson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
