He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Lewis and Esther Rose Sakowski (Jeplawy). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sakowski (Hinton); his sons, Aaron Sakowski (Sonia Gilewicz), Brian Sakowski (Toni) and Christopher Sakowski (Lauren); his grandchildren, Alexander Sakowski, Esther Sakowski, Kameryn Sakowski, Brighton Sakowski, Obadiah Sakowski, Halle, Elizabeth Sakowski and Charlotte Sakowski; his siblings, Roger Sakowski (Bonnie), Fred Sakowski (Mary), Rosalyn Clay (James) and Mary Lou Sakowski; and his siblings-in-law, William and Sandra Hinton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
