He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon John Menkveld and Jean Marilyn Wever Bennett; and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Adams (Mike), Debra Brown (Leroy), Evonne Bennette (Ken), Robert Bennette (Melissa) and Debra Cole; his wife Nenita; his children, Tara, Paula, David Scott Menkveld (Jean), Adam Menkveld and Amy Lorraine Menkveld; and his stepchildren, Lesley Marie Pettus (Tim), Angel Burkey (Stephen) and Dastin Lamis (Maricris). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
