He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward John Thwaites, Jr. and Natalie Sue Campbell; his parents-in-law, Lynwood and Jackie Armstrong (Bielecki); his half-sister Patricia Rutledge; and his close friend Dan Irvine.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Thwaites (Armstrong); his daughters, Stephanie and Sarah Thwaites; his grandson Lincoln; his sister Kimberly Thwaites; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Armstrong (Sherie), Dawn Sims (Glen) and Robin Frodl (Bill).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
