It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chris Abernathy (Rockford, Michigan), who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Dana and Mabel Irene Abernathy. He is survived by: his wife Susan Abernathy; and his children, Michael Abernathy (Caroline Bryant), Dean Abernathy, Christina Brasic, Christiana Abernathy and Bradon Abernathy. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice in memory of Chris.
