She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Johnson and Mabel Johnson; her husband Gerald "Jerry"; and her sister Retha DeBoer. She is survived by: her children, Scott Hoekstra, Doug Hoekstra (Pamela), Dennis Hoekstra (Dana) and Brenda Hoekstra; her brother Laverne Johnson; and her brother-in-law Ken (Char). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; four step grand-children and 12 great-grandchildren.
