He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Alfred Oatley, Sr. and Mina Oatley (Shay); his wife Grace Oatley (Watson); and his sister Bernice Wiersma. He is survived by: his children, Alma Oatley of Munising, MI and Benjamin Terry Oatley (Aina) of Belding, MI.; his sister-in-law Mary Sue Watson; and his nieces, Carolyn Nelms, Nancy Wilkins and Dianne Dempsey.
