She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alvin Bepristis and June Bepristis; her stepparent Glen Neilson; her husband Thomas Gordon Schaap; her child Stephnie Schaap-Jones; her grandchildren, Anthony, Lilli, Amethyst and William; her great grandchildren, Maleek and Myles; and her siblings, Karen Ragauss (Charlie), Bob Bepristis (Debbie) and Gigi Stellema. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
