She was predeceased by: her parents, Kennard Matthews and Elizabeth Matthews; her husband Phil Benson; and her sisters, Patty and Connie.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Milliken of White Lake, David of Grand Rapids, Laurie Benson of Grand Rapids and Martin Benson of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Erin Pollack (Brandon) of Colorado Springs, Allison Nikitin (Matt) of Howell, Matthew (Samantha Thompson) of White Lake, Samuel Milliken of White Lake, MaryRose, Cyril Benson of Grand Rapids, Taylor and Noah Wustman of Grand Rapids; and her great grandchildren, Reagan Milliken and Evelyn "Evey" Nikitin (Baby Nikitin).
