He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Harrington and Charles "Sumner" Pattan; his wife Janet Pattan; his granddaughter Samantha; and his brother Charles Franks.
He is survived by: his children, Patty Pattan-O'Neal (Roy Pattan) of Rock, MI, Jenny Wheeler (Elizabeth "Libby" Pattan) of Rock, MI, Shirley Pattan (Joan) of Minneola, FL and Mary Heburn (Teri Manty) of Atoka, TN. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and various friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
