He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Jean Hammond; his sister Patricia Bishop (Tom); his parents, William Hammond and Helen Hammond (Peterson); and his wife Patricia "Patti" Jean Lauckner.
He is survived by: his children, William Hammond Jr. (Anne), Diane Bengtson (Kevin) and Susan Conley (Kirk); his grandchildren, William, John, Cora Hammond, Aaron Bengtson-Coria, Megan Andros, Sean, Jason, Angela and Caitlin Conley; and his sister Carol Parker (Dave).
Memorial contributions may be made in William's memory to St. John Lutheran Church Love for Others Fund.
