She was predeceased by: her sister Marian Richardson; her brother-in-law Carl Richardson; and her parents, Mary Zumwalt and Norman Zumwalt. She is survived by: her husband Elwood Schlesinger (El); her sisters, Eva Kroupa, Violet Melstrom (John) and Mary Meloche (Russ); her son Nicholas Cascaddan; her stepchildren, Sandra Schlesinger (Curt Putzig), Randell Schlesinger and Scot Schlesinger; and her grandchildren, Scot, Bret, Katie Putzig, Heather, James of Tom, AJ, Tyller and Owen Schlesinger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pixley Funeral Home (322 W University Dr, Rochester, MI 48307). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
