He is survived by: his former wife Sylvia Halpert; his children, Heather Anne Halpert, Stephenie McWalters, Jane Van Slembrouck, Emily Nightingale, Margaret Long, Robert Halpert, James Halpert and Alex Brown; his grandchildren, Aureliano, Cody, Beatrix, John, Mia, William, Charles, Quentin and Hector; and his siblings, Don Halpert, Wayne Halpert, Vicki Klein and Sherri Carlesso.
