He is survived by: his caregiver Mary Lynn; his children, Richard Novak III (Sandra), Jonathon Novak, Christopher Novak (Antoinette), Peter Novak and Thomas Novak; his grandchildren, Gunnar, Piper and Lucas; his siblings, Jeffrey Novak, Thomas Novak (Kerry) and Matthew Novak (Kathleen); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Kennedy and Dennis Herzog.
