Maxwell David Schein Obituary
Maxwell David Schein passed away at age 21 on April 21, 2022. Max was dearly loved by his family and many friends.
Max is survived by his mother, Lisa Schein, and father, David Schein, his stepfather Brad Wolfbauer, sisters Alexis and Lauren, brother Sam, grandparents John and Marianne Maurer, step grandparents Doug and Bobbi Wolfbauer, uncle Timothy Maurer (Heather), uncle Brian Wolfbauer (Lindsay), aunt Amy Pierman and seven cousins. Max is also survived by his second family, the Avon Players.
Max was born in Rochester Hills, MI, and was baptized at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. He attended Long Meadow Elementary School and West Middle School. Max graduated from Rochester Adams High School in 2019 as a Scholar of Highest Distinction. He was awarded a Presidential Scholarship to Oakland University and took up residence in The Honors College Hall.
Max's passions, in addition to his college studies, was acting and singing. He performed with Meadow Brook Theatre, Rochester Community Schools Summer Theatre, Rochester Adams High School Theatre, and Avon Players. He loved being on stage sharing a character and a story with an audience. Max was a valued member of the Oakland University Choir.
