She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Gilbert and Mary Gilbert (Fitzgerald); and her sister Barbara Gilbert. She is survived by: her daughters, Lauren Bartosik (Hunter) and Erika Church; her granddaughter Eleanor Bartosik; and her siblings, Paul Gilbert (Patti), Steve Gilbert (Christine Furtak-Lee), Ellen Schaner (Rick) and Neil Gilbert (Melissa Otto).
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (1011 W University Dr, Rochester Hills, MI 48307). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Lakeville Cemetery.
