He was predeceased by: his mother Swietlana Volpe, Jr. (Pleskacz). He is survived by: his wife Kara; his daughters, Sarah, Gracie and Evelyn; his father Joseph Volpe, Jr.; his sister Tanya Muzumdar; and his niece Maia Muzumdar.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Joe's honor to a college scholarship fund for their youngest daughter, Evelyn Grace.
