He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Miller; his daughter Cynthia Jean Harris (Otis M.); his grandchildren, Harlan C. Burgess (Nina A.), Shannon M. Harris (Patricia) and Natosha E. Harris; his great grandchildren, Dontez M. Burgess, Donna T. Burgess, Dana R. Burgess, Danielle R. Harris and Jackson L. Harris; and his brother Paul L. Shannon. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
