He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Curtis and Eleanor Curtis (Elleman); and his sister Tammie Curtis. He is survived by: his children, Ciera Jason (Michael), Jared Curtis (Audrey) and Jordan Rietz (Daniel); his grandchildren, Ava Jason, Lukus Rietz and Amelia Rietz; and his siblings, Michael Curtis, Matthew Curtis (Kim) and Stacie McWilliams (Van).

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pixley Funeral Home (322 W University Dr, Rochester, MI 48307). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM.
