He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry F. Wilson and Helen A. Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his daughter Donna Lynn (Holland); his grandchildren, Ivy, Carter, Ethan Holland, Julia, Kaylee Veeser, Evan and Alexa Lockridge; his brother Paul J. Wilson of St. Clair Shores; and his friend John Stockton of Wickenburg, Arizona..

In lieu of flowers, Don and his family would request donations in his name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
