He was predeceased by: his wife Trudy Karas; and his parents, Stanko Karas and Anna Karas. He is survived by: his children, Michael Karas (Phylis) of Sugar Land, TX, Peggy Philippi (Ken) of Washington, MI, Paul Karas of Rochester Hills, MI and Martha Guella (Jeffrey) of Lake Orion, MI; and his grandchildren, Kelly Dittmar of Maple Grove, MN, Corrie Dillman of Fairfield, KY, Christian Guella of Lake Orion, MI, Krystal Karas of Rochester Hills, MI and Matthew Guella of Ann Arbor, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Meadow Brook Hall to enhance the outdoor gardens.
